John's Role
As a master of Tai Chi Yoga, and inventor in bringing the two together, John brings an important element to our team in improving holistic mental health and wellness. There are many well-researched benefits of yoga especially and also tai chi.
Tai chi is a non-competitive martial art known for its self-defense techniques and is a "meditation-in-motion". It combines gentle physical exercise and stretching with mindfulness and stomach breathing. Tai Chi can improve balance control, fitness, flexibility, can alleviate depression, stress, and anxiety as it promotes a sense of inner-peace.
Yoga has many benefits of incresing mobility and range of motion, increasing depth of breathing, enhancing mindfulness, increasing strength and flexbility. As well as improving your sleep and reducing stress.
When these two forms of gentle exercises are combined, Tai Chi Yoga becomes a powerful tool to enhance and deepen your life experience. We are excited John has joined our team and look forward to all the benefits of Tai Chi Yoga for our clients!
